Ticked box

Every time there is a change in practice or policy, management sends out a survey or asks for feedback.
People carefully write thoughtful responses, raise concerns and suggest practical strength-based strategies or changes. Then NOTHING CHANGES.
The next meeting, they thank us for our “valuable input,” yet the problem remains unchanged, and patient solutions are ignored.
This destroys workplace culture and greatly impacts psychological safety. After a while, it feels like this is just theatre, where employees are asked for input only as a box to check.
