Beyond Equity: The Courage to Care Podcast – Supporting human rights

“Each year of somebody's life as a chapter. We're only seeing them in this current chapter of their life, and it might be their worst one. I think that humanism, respect, compassion, all play a huge role in harm reduction.”
Today we debut the third and final episode of Beyond Equity: The Courage to Care, a new three-part podcast from ONA. This podcast is all about hearing stories from one another, through a perspective of anti-racism and anti-oppression. If you think about these issues, especially how they relate to your work, this podcast is for you.
In this episode we meet Jeremy, a nurse and human rights advocate working in public health.
Jeremy talks about what he’s learned working with unhoused people and those with substance use issues, how he addresses stigma, and what keeps him going.
We hope you enjoy this episode. Listen and share it with a friend. They may need these stories, too.
