Raving glad

I’d like to thank the members of ONA’s government relations, mobilizing and communications teams for all their assistance during our negotiations.  

A huge thank you to Tania Liu, Imreet Kaur, Luiza Minea, Stacey Papernick and Nour Alideeb. Their actions and suggestions during our negotiations made a huge difference and forced our employers to re-evaluate what they were going to offer us in terms of wages.  

They also gave us the confidence to challenge our employers and approach our local politicians with our demands for fair wages and scheduling.  

Thanks again to our mobilizers, and government relations and communications staff. Keep up the fight!
