Thick skin
Quarter of a century into nursing and the level and number of managers and leaders is disgusting!
The front line continues to work short with little to no resources and breaks. Burn out!
Perhaps I’ve grown a thick skin, but my heart breaks for the younger generation and also for the patients who ask for nothing as they see us do everything we can with only the support of our peers who have the same heavy workload.
