Give and take

Card reads, Time to drown the employer with workload forms.

Everything we have ever gotten has only been obtained by fighting for it and not backing down!

I work in a rural emergency department with only two RNs, one MD, no RT, no CT, no security and no clerical support. As a unit, we drowned the employer with professional responsibility workload forms (PRWFs) and won significant changes.

We have changed to two RNs on night shift and added an RPN for 12 hours a day. Unfortunately, the employer has started pulling this RPN to other units to fill gaps, stating they aren’t baseline staff.

They giveth and they taketh away.

Time to drown the employer again with PRWFs. We’ll continue to fight for what we deserve!
