Retirement comes at a time when many people start taking medications or have changes to their health, and us nurses will be hung out to dry! How do we pay for health-care costs on a fixed retirement income? Coming to the realization retirement may never come for me.

If you’re considering nursing as a career, don’t. Maybe working at a Big Three factory or becoming a tradesman will offer less stress and lifelong benefits.
