United

The mission to protect and save people’s lives
They sent us to the front lines
We served in every war, peacekeeping mission and humanitarian effort
Across every community of every nation of the entire world
We marched FIRST into every global pandemic in history
Without support, gear, knowledge of what was to come
Cloaked in fear but ready to face head-on whatever may happen
Away from family and friends
WE SURVIVED
WE THRIVE
Despite the lack of support
Despite the resources stolen from us by greedy governments
Now in the midst of the worst health-care crisis Ontario has ever faced

We stand UNITED
We fight like the army we are
We fight like a nurse

WE ARE ONA
