Afterthought

Card reads, Hallway patients are on stretchers, not beds.

Hallway “bed” patients are out in the open during their most vulnerable time with no call bells.

Staff and visitors walk by and there is no privacy. They’re feeling like an afterthought.

Often these patients are on stretchers, not even in beds. Stretchers are very uncomfortable and not meant for a long-term care stay.
