Bottom line

My employer claims they have no budget, and have laid off front-line staff who take care of our wonderful residents.
Yet, they have hired more managers than I’ve ever seen before in the facility. And there have also been complaints about the decline in food quantity, and quality and level of care provided. How does this make sense?
Employers are very good at preaching that it’s all about the residents. Yet, they fail miserably at showing that. Let’s face it, it’s all about profit and their bottom line.
This is so wrong. Employers need to loosen up their purse strings for staff and residents instead of lining their own pockets.
Shame on them.
